Just today, I toured Brush High School. It has been 48 years since I stepped into the building. Of course over the course of those 48 years, there is a brand new building from top to bottom. The only thing that remained is a bit of the old gym – everything else is brand, spanking new as of just last year. I was totally impressed. It was so much nicer, cleaner, hipper and technologically advanced then the school that I just retired from. Can you imagine that?
A town with only 3 traffic lights and they have a far better facility than any I can remember in Florida. They must have some pretty amazing grants and tax payers out their to afford this. I loved my tour and, of course, ended my tour in the auditorium – now a state of the art facility – with a director coaching a kid, “You just need to put a smiling face on for this scene.” Wow! GREAT facilities – most questionable acting training.
