Today in Company we were all getting a bit restless as the skies were darkening and the Hurricane Mathew was working its way to Florida for what would become a 4-day weekend. I was getting ready to start the class in Viewpoints focusing on the topography of space and how the boundaries or framing of the space really did change the moment. I was beginning to move all of the chairs (raggedy and broken down as they are) to the extremes of the Blackbox and then I just thought, “hell, why don’t we take this “large topography” and take it outside and play it in the courtyard. It would be good to experience a truly huge topography and damn it, storms are just too beautiful to stay inside. Call it “large topography” or call it recess. It felt good.
Sometimes It Just Feels Good
